About the Author-John Whitehouse is President of ChangeWise, Inc., a Director of the Progeni Corporation, Adjunct Professor at the University of North Florida, a nationally recognized Year 2000 Keynote Speaker, and the author of several articles on Management, Technology, and the Year 2000 Opportunity. He specializes in executive-level consulting on Year 2000 Issues. About the Author Mr. Whitehouse has over 20 years of executive management experience. During this time he has been responsible for the development, implementation and execution of financial application systems. During the past five years, as the Executive Vice President of Technology Strategies at CPI/ALLTEL, he has been particularly involved in the Strategic Business Planning including the use of proven emerging technologies to enhance the business process. Mr. Whitehouse has had an active role in Year 2000 projects since 1991 and is currently doing seminars and providing consulting assistance on strategies to address the millennium opportunity. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Florida. His course teaches masters level students how to manage data processing organizations in today's world of ever-changing business goals and ever-improving technology enablers. As a Director of the Progeni Corporation, a leader in Year 2000 migration automation, he has been instrumental in executive awareness programs and process control solution delivery. Mr. Whitehouse has served as a member of several Corporate Data Processing Advisory Boards and College and University Advisory Boards. His unique expertise is based on a combination of 30 years of progressive responsibility in Computer Technology and 20 years of successful Executive Management. He holds the rank of Major in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, having served 10 years on active duty in both Viet Nam and Washington D.C. Mr. Whitehouse received a bachelor of science degree from Holy Cross College and a masters of science degree in administration with a concentration in systems management from George Washington University.
