The programmer's guide to the Registry focuses on the technical requirements programs must meet in order to merit Microsoft's coveted "Designed for Windows 95 and NT" certification and logo. For the systems administrator, there's plenty of information on Registry security (with excellent explanations of System Policy Editor, including template files) and remote administration with Registry Editor. Although it covers Registry-customizing software, no CD-ROM or disk accompanies the book.
