Book Description
Karn Borden, a private investigator of computer crime, agrees to take a case of industrial theft via computer at a friend's company. She faces her past when the owner's son, James, returns and arouses feelings she has been trying to forget for eight years since she saw him last. James and Karn rekindle the mutual attraction, but when his actions put her in jeopardy, she faces a gun in the criminal's hands. The gun goes off and their lives are changed forever. Will their love for each other be strong enough to heal the wounds? Or now that the case is solved, will he desert her again? Rating: A romantic intrigue, the story contains sex and one scene of limited violence.
About the Author
In addition to Overbyte, the author has four audiobooks coming out in 1998-9. Her next book coming from NCP is So Alone an Christian Romance which will be available August '99. She has also published short stories and non-fiction articles. Her bachelor's degree is in English Literature and master's in Technical Theater. A wife, mother, and grandmother, she writes full-time.
