Welcome to Wargaming.Net's DBM / DBA page

We are a group of game developers who are currently making the computerized version of
WRG's DBM for Internet play. We are planning the following features:

  • 100% compatible with the original Richard Bodley Scott's and Phil Barker's rules. Computer serves as an impartial umpire
  • Easy to use gaming interface
  • Our Client-Server gaming technology will allow you to choose opponents around the world whom you would hardly meet in person
  • Battle recording system  will allow you to review the battles you played and show them to other people
  • Campaign system
  • Club activity: ranks, ladder, international tournaments etc
  • Many other nice features including those proposed by you

We have been working on DBM program for 10 months. Intensive rules discussion has been conducted with RBS. There have been tons of paper spoiled, thousands of hours spent on programming. DBM seems to be quite sophisticated game to program, if trying to implement all the rules details.

The process has come to the point when the DBM program very much looks like DBA but it is still a lot of time away from being real DBM. We think that we should better make DBA first. This will take only several months, we believe.

After we launch DBA (if we decide to make it first),  we'll go on with DBM project.

We are working for you and we need to know your opinion about this idea. If you have any comments, ideas, propositions, or just  questions, please don't hesitate to contact Victor Kisly (kisly@nsys.by).

If you would like that we keep you informed about the progress of DBM/DBA programming, just let us know by e-mail (kisly@nsys.by). DBM/DBA newsletter will be issued about twice a week.

Sincerely Yours, Victor Kisly,
the project manager
