Note that many of the procedures in this book require you to have an existing database with some functionality, which you can extend by using the described procedure. You can use the sample databases on the CD-ROM for this purpose, although that may require some extensive investment of time. Mastering Lotus Notes 4.5 and Domino contains an appendix detailing the contents of the included CD-ROM, which offers a rich array of helpful programs and programming aides.
