Reviews Amazon.com You can literally open Mastering Lotus Notes 4.5 and Domino without ever having laid eyes on Lotus Notes and, by the end of the book, you'll be creating sophisticated Domino applications using LotusScript. The authors begin with an introduction to the Notes 4.5 client. Then they move forward at a moderate pace, offering many examples and step-by-step procedures along the way. Note that many of the procedures in this book require you to have an existing database with some functionality, which you can extend by using the described procedure. You can use the sample databases on the CD-ROM for this purpose, although that may require some extensive investment of time. Mastering Lotus Notes 4.5 and Domino contains an appendix detailing the contents of the included CD-ROM, which offers a rich array of helpful programs and programming aides. It includes five sample databases with information on how to use them and, in many cases, how to extend their functionality using topics in the book. The book treats the remainder of the CD-ROM's contents in equal depth. Synopsis Back to Lotus Notes |
