Reviews Book Description SGML Tagger offers a powerful and inexpensive means to prepare documents in SGML format. Whether you are creating a document from scratch, or editing an existing document, this program allows even a novice user to quickly and accurately insert SGML tags into a document. SGML Tagger runs as a Terminate and Stay Resident (TSR) program in DOS, allowing the program to be accessed and operated from your DOS word processor. Once aD (Document Type Definition) is chosen, the user is offered a choice of tags which are correct in that context. This insures that documents maintain their consistency and adherence to SGML style. You don't need to be an expert in SGML, or learn a new editing program to start creating SGML Documents. This makes SGML Tagger an ideal application for a wide range of professions including: scholars, novelists, technical writers, computational linguists and electronic publishers. With more organizations, governments, corporations and industry groups using SGML for document delivery, SGML Tagger is becoming less of a luxury, and more of a necessity.
